We are seeking a Accounting Manager With strong GAAP skills to manager the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and tax accounting. The Accounting Manager will oversee a team of accountants and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: The Accounting Manager Columbus will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows. They will ensure that all financial reports are accurate, complete, and timely, and comply with GAAP and FASB guidelines.Accounting Research: The Accounting Manager Columbus will conduct accounting research to ensure compliance with changing regulations and accounting standards. They will stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and guidelines, and implement new policies and procedures as necessary.Revenue Recognition: The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all revenue recognition policies and procedures are in compliance with GAAP and FASB guidelines. They will review contracts and sales agreements to ensure that revenue is recognized in accordance with these guidelines.Tax Accounting: The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s tax accounting and compliance with tax regulations. They will prepare and review tax returns, and work with external tax advisors to ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable tax laws.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Valid CPA license
At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong knowledge of GAAP and FASB guidelines
Experience with accounting research and revenue recognition
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
