And we do it all with heart, each and every day.Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Lead Architect to design and develop innovative cloud solutions to complex applications, system administration, or network issues. Duties include: verify performance, availability, and scalability for the Public Cloud environment and system architecture; leverage new and existing technology to accelerate the transformation of IT in support of the business and identify software components to meet user needs; collaborate with Architects and Engineers to ensure enterprise application solution designs meet or exceed the organization’s business goals; support applications, system architectures, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; work with cross-functional teams on daily tasks to support project planning and implementation; and identify emerging technologies for cloud native workload to enable and accelerate the journey to the Cloud. Multiple positions. -Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
  • Design, development and support of software applications and platforms;
  • Java, Python, or Node.js;
  • XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
  • Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone;
  • REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs;
  • Java or KAFKA development;
  • CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; and
  • RDBMS, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, RDS, or Oracle.
Pay Range: $147680.00/year to $230000.00/year.This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
