Help us transform our workforce of the future, today.We are looking for an experienced IT Field Service Technician (IT Technician) to support our Zions Technology Center, operational offices and branch locations across the Salt Lake valley.The Technology Reliability Engineering and Operations (TREO) organization is a key information technology group supporting our valued internal and external customers. TREO aligns up through the Chief Technology Officer and provides IT services such as hosting, security operations, application, voice, business intelligence infrastructure, collaboration services, and end user support. We focus on both operating and innovating our services to ensure continuous efficiency and modernization. Come join other professionals in some of the most important work taking place in banking!The IT Field Service Technician duties will include:Supporting the Information Technology Department with installing, administering and maintaining the infrastructure of desktops, laptops and other hardwareInstallation, setup, and maintenance of workstations to include workstation hardware components, base operating systems, networking, software environmentsAssisting with troubleshooting workstation, application and environmental problemsSupporting server systems from an operating system and shared services perspectiveAssisting systems administrative team members in providing overall environment supportMaking recommendations on areas of improvementProvide quality analysis and subject matter expertiseAssisting internal resources to provide the best possible administrative supportContributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results in corporative and supportive mannerTechnical Skills and Qualifications:Requires High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1+ years' experience with computers, networks, computer software and hardware in a field services, or related IT support role.This position will require travel throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Candidates must show proof of a valid and acceptable driving record. Travel will be necessary to service our remote branches in and outside of the Salt Lake valley with personal vehicle.Proficient knowledge of application software, networks, PCs LANs, and terminalsEnterprise networking, hardware, and server experience highly preferredN+ certification is a plus, not requiredLeadership, QA, or related experience within the fieldAbility to troubleshoot problems and make appropriate corrections and/or recommendationsMust be able to meet deadlines and work with customers on a daily basisBroad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable disciplineSome overtime may be necessary on an “as needed” basisA combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.Work Location:
This position is fully in office (5 days a week) located at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT and supports locations in the Salt Lake valley.The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
