- Serve as an expert in the field and as a principal advisor
- Lead the application of established principles, guide the development of innovative solutions, and leverage professional expertise to resolve critical issue
- Apply deep expertise in theories, practices, and design to address complex issues that influence program success and future innovations
- Develop solutions using sound judgment in the face of limited information, with a focus on long-term implementation aligned with strategic goals
- Deliver results that have a broad impact across multiple functions, contributing to organizational effectiveness and forward-looking initiatives
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of product technologies, system-level integration, and specialized engineering methods
- Effectively interface with suppliers to drive research and ensure delivery of valuable products and services, while coordinating ongoing collaboration
- Represent the company in basic negotiations with vendors, OEMs and internal teams to support strategic partnerships
- Deliver compelling presentations to peers, cross-functional teams, and director-level leadership, showcasing insights on technologies, vendor offerings, and competitive landscape
- Mentor and lead peers within the technical community, aligning efforts with Dell’s long-term business goals and objectives
- Typically requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12+ years and a Master’s degree; or 8+ years and a PhD; or equivalent experience
