Description :The Development Assistant is responsible for donation processing and reporting, data entry, and donor acknowledgments and general development office support.Salary Range: $24.00/hr - $26.00/hr
Schedule: Per diem - (8-12 hours/week)Qualifications:
  • 3 years of data entry and administrative experience, preferably in a fundraising environment.
  • Proficiency in databases and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Detail-oriented and effective time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high degree of accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the mission and goals of DDI.
Responsibilities:
  • Donation processing and CRM oversight: Process donations, matching gifts, pledge reports, and event confirmations in donor CRM. Ensure that coding of all gifts is consistent and accurate.
  • Donor acknowledgments: Prepare timely and accurate gift acknowledgement letters.
  • Budget support: Update budgets with revenue and expenses. Donation reconciliation with finance department as needed.
  • Generate mailing and gift lists using CRM and prep lists for the mail house.
  • Order development department supplies.
  • Event support of major fundraisers and donor cultivation event(s).
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development.
