- Spearhead groundbreaking water/wastewater facility projects, reports, specifications, designs, and permits.
- Prepare precise design computations and estimates.
- Engage directly with clients to shape project visions, navigating through the development of project scopes.
- Steer project schedules and fees with strategic insight and efficiency.
- Lead client meetings, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project alignment with client needs.
- Champion quality assurance and control tasks, upholding the highest standards of excellence.
- Guide and inspire junior engineers, providing mentorship and fostering their professional growth.
- Direct a talented team of engineers, supervising their work and encouraging collaborative success.
- Serve both public and private sector clients, contributing to a wide range of impactful projects.
- Embark on travel as necessary, embracing the opportunity to influence projects far and wide.
- Participate in occasional evening meetings, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to project success.
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical or closely related engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience of which at least two must be at the project manager level with direct client contact.
- Professional engineering license
- In-depth experience in the design of water/wastewater facilities, including treatment plants, transmission systems, collection/distribution networks, pump stations, and storage facilities.
- A solid background in navigating regulatory issues associated with water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance and addressing environmental considerations.
- Practical experience with construction administration tasks specific to water/wastewater projects, overseeing project execution and ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- A proven track record of mentoring and developing less experienced engineers.
- NCEES record and the ability to become licensed in other states as needed.
