- Develop detailed weekly manufacturing plans, indicating on which dates/times production teams will execute specific production builds. Negotiate with manufacturing leadership to ensure capacity is aligned with demand.
- Work with Wilmington site manufacturing leadership and data analytics to determine optimal production schedules that minimizes Y90 costs while ensuring on time delivery and product availability requirements are met.
- Analyze demand trends to set stocking levels for LAVA product line and schedule in LAVA production runs where necessary.
- Responsible for weekly Y90 procurement to fulfill manufacturing demands as well as working with the data analytics team to define the best overall purchasing schedule.
- Identify areas of cost reduction without compromising on quality and service level
- Determine appropriate stocking and replenishment levels for Sirtex manufactured products based on demand forecasts.
- Coordinate shipment of inventory between companies
- Identify cost effective shipping methods and follow up on shipments to ensure delivery
- Monitor and file all shipment documentation and correspondence
- Responsible for receiving and maintaining regional records and copies of sales orders/shipping paperwork in
- Communicate with Customer Service and Production as necessary in relation to sales order requirements and shipments as needed
- Cross check all production planning and Y90 procurement requirements for customer orders each day to ensure sufficient stock and accurate detail information
- Prepare and distribute shipment paperwork as required to production facility and freight forwarder; review future shipments to ensure “ready to ship”
- Coordinate with freight forwarders on shipments to include shipment paperwork as well as shipment status
- Communicate shipment paperwork and/or status directly to regional Customer Service
- Develop and maintain relationships with nominated freight forwarders
- Monitor shipments via flight information and work with Customer Service to resolve treatment scheduling issues resulting from unplanned delivery delays.
- Identify, find solutions for and communicate opportunities or new lanes of business to appropriate team members
- Maintain monthly reconciliation of shipments as required via established reporting
- Lead new distribution or planning related projects for the Wilmington site.
- Other duties as assigned
- Degree in relevant discipline and 2 years experience, or five years' experience in similar role.
- Proficient in MS Office. Experience in SAP ERP will be highly regarded
- Must be detail oriented, highly accurate, conscientious and able to work independently, dynamic and possess strong organizational skills
- Must be able to handle multi-task/projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of procurement business processes and systems
- Dangerous Goods Certification will be highly regarded
