β Load liquid fertilizer into tanker trucks and perform outside operations including manual valves.
β Monitor utility equipment such as boilers, cooling towers and air systems.
β Inspect vessels and equipment, read and record instrumentation, and take product samples.
β Follow and enforce safety procedures, including hazardous waste handling, emergency response and plant safety programs.
β Support maintenance and turnaround activities, and understand confined space entry.
β Keep the plant and surrounding area clean, safe and organized.
β Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors and contractors.QualificationsWhat You'll Bringβ High school diploma or GED.
β At least one year of experience in a chemical, industrial or similar plant setting.
β Mechanical and technical aptitude, with strong attention to detail.
β Ability to work a 12-hour swing shift (days, nights, weekends, holidays) on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
β Commitment to safety and reliability in all weather conditions.
β Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and work outdoors for extended periods.
β Computer and basic math skills; ability to follow standard operating procedures.Nice to Haveβ Good computer literacy for loading and inventory documentation.
β Understanding of D.O.T. shipping and safety regulations.
