All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Full TimeShift: DaysLocation: 601 EAST ROLLINS STREET, Orlando, 32803The role youll contribute:The Clinical Trials Applications Supervisor supervises the workload and daily activities of the Clinical Trail Application Specialists who provide management, implementation, execution, and completion of projects in and for the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) ensuring consistency and compliance with established guidelines and goals. The CTMS is provided as a Core One system by AdventHealth IT. The Clinical Trials Applications Supervisor has the primary responsibility to lead the Clinical Trial Application Specialists activities for all regions participating in research including but not limited to Central Florida, West Florida, Rocky Mountain, Southeast, Southwest and Mid-America. The Clinical Trials Application Supervisor is knowledgeable in the areas of clinical trial budgets and protocols, Medicare coverage analysis, clinical trial financial processes including invoicing and time and effort, patient and study statuses, and reporting in the CTMS and Microsoft Power BI. The Clinical Trials Applications Supervisor provides mentorship in these areas to the Clinical Trials Applications Specialists. The Clinical Trials Applications Supervisor collaborates with operational research unit stakeholders and other shared research services and administrative departments to ensure CTMS builds support compliant, timely, effective, and efficient management of related research activities under the auspices of AdventHealth Research Institute. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.The value youll bring to the team:
  • Manages the performance, evaluations, development conversations, leave, and workflow of the Clinical Trial Application Specialist team.

  • Develops training processes and materials for the team to perform their responsibilities accurately and timely.
  • Communicates effectively with CTMS users and leadership.
  • Leads process improvement initiatives to enhance communication between clinical research teams, finance, budget, billing compliance, and regulatory finances, and reporting teams.
  • Updates CTMS processes to ensure metrics, tracking, compliance, and timely study activation.
  • Performs administrative duties such as business requirement gathering, process redesign, and application support.
  • Manages projects to build an effective CTMS infrastructure supporting goals of efficient clinical research study implementation, processes
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's Required
  • 5 Work Experience Required
Preferred:
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Proficient in Clinical Trial Management System Builds
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical research protocols and budgets, including Medicare Coverage Analysis
  • Motivated, organized and able to function independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative style necessary for interaction across departments
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet fixed deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ethical and diplomatic with an ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures regarding clinical research
  • Knowledge of research, IT, or database operations
  • Knowledge of International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) Good Clinical Practice guidelines, healthcare compliance and federal regulations related to clinical research
  • Knowledge of study phases in relation to clinical development
  • Knowledge of Clinical Conductor CTMS
  • General knowledge of Epic as it relates to CTMS interface and functions
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Index, etc.) and Power BI
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Preferred
