Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a Clinical Fellow – SLP to join our Special Education team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities.Exciting CF opportunity to work with a team of supportive SLPs. Work with elementary, high school, and transitional students (up to 21 years old) with complex communication needs and significant behavioral challenges. Many AAC/AT learning opportunities. Students earn certificates of completion as they work to develop functional life skills in this collaborative and specialized interdisciplinary setting.What You’ll Do:As a Clinical Fellow, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals to:
  • Deliver speech/language, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing assessments and treatments tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that empower patients and families.
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary team conferences and professional development activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with MSDE, ASHA, COMAR, and accreditation standards.
  • Participate in community outreach and departmental initiatives.
What You Bring:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Limited License from the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • CPR certification.
  • Bonus: Additional training in pediatric feeding/swallowing or communication disorders.
