You'll work as part of a cross-functional team, owning features end-to-end from design through deployment. The ideal candidate thrives in both front-end and back-end development, enjoys problem-solving, and values writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.This is a hybrid role (a few days in the office each month required) based in the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX area.We are not able to provide visa sponsorship at this time.Responsibilities * Develop and maintain high-quality SaaS applications using VueJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and PHP (Symfony/Doctrine).
  • Build and optimize APIs, database schemas, and integrations with third-party services.
  • Work primarily with relational databases (MySQL, Redshift). Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus but not required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) in an Agile environment.
  • Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
  • Contribute to system architecture and scalability discussions.
QualificationsRequired * 3+ years of professional experience in software development with JavaScript/TypeScript and PHP.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (ideally VueJS).
  • Experience with Symfony and Doctrine ORM.
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational database design.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong focus on writing testable, maintainable code.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred * Experience with SaaS product development.
  • Familiarity with AWS and serverless computing.
  • Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and system design.
  • Prior experience in EdTech or childcare/education-related software.
