We are actively seeking a Staff Engineering to help technically lead development on the BMC ITSM Helix platform, guiding technical strategy and execution of new products on the platform. Staff engineer works with the engineering staff to innovate and build new engineering solutions, improve and enhance existing solutions as well as leverage engineering solutions to solve critical operational problems.**The ideal candidate must have a deep technical expertise of BMC ITSM Helix/Remedy platform.Position ResponsibilitiesAs a Staff Engineering, you will:Collaborate closely with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to tackle complex challengesDevelop and execute the technical software development strategy for our BMC ITSM Helix platform, new integration and new forms and overall operational efficiencyBuild and refine self-service features that empower application teams or business processesBe accountable for the quality, usability, and performance of solutions developed on the ITSM platformConsistently share best practices and improve processes both within your team and across other engineering groupsAct as an advocate and subject matter expert (SME) for the BMC Helix ITSM platformAct as an advocate and subject matter expert (SME) for the BMC Helix ITSM platformHelp the organization fulfill on key objectives including expanding automation and process improvements to deliver faster and improve overall quality on deliverablesWrites and maintains functional and technical specificationsQualificationsProven experience on enterprise platforms similar to ServiceNow or BMC ITSM Helix/RemedyStrong knowledge of service managementKnowledge of cloud computing technologies and concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc.)Strong knowledge of JavaScriptProven ability to demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quicklyProficiency in Project Management and work item management tools such as Github and Azure DevOpsStrong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and core computer science conceptsFluency with RESTful Web Services and Event Driven ArchitecturesExperience6+ years coding experience6+ years of development on an IT Service Management platform like BMC ITSM Helix6+ years of technical leadership on a platform like BMC ITSM Helix or similar platform6+ years of coding/working with REST API Integrations and CMDB.4+ years with Standardize Reporting6+ years Oral and Written Communication SkillsEducationBachelor's degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent work experienceAnnual Salary $105,000.00 - $230,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate.
