Compensation: $115,000 – $125,000 base + 15% performance bonus

Ideal for professionals who enjoy working in a dynamic, small-plant environment with real impact.Position Overview:We are seeking a seasoned and ethical Corporate Controller with at least 10 years of manufacturing finance experience—ideally in chemical, energy, or food & beverage sectors—to oversee accounting operations across our three plant locations. This is a critical leadership role responsible for cost accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, and oversight of daily accounting activities.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all accounting operations including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognitionEnsure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reportsOversee and mentor a team of 3 direct reports, ensuring strong controls, accountability, and performanceDevelop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure ethical financial practicesPartner with the COO to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency across all plant locationsMaintain oversight of plant-level accounting activities at our facilities in Indiana, Maryland, and Arlington, TXLead and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processesEnsure compliance with GAAP and all relevant federal, state, and local tax regulationsManage audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisorsSupport ERP system optimization and standardization of accounting procedures across sitesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA strongly preferredMinimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 5 years as a Controller in a manufacturing environmentStrong cost accounting experience is requiredIndustry experience in chemical, energy, gas, or food & beverage manufacturing preferredProven ability to manage accounting teams and drive process improvementsEthical, detail-oriented, and trustworthy with a strong sense of fiduciary responsibilityExperience working in organizations with multi-site operations is a plusKnowledge of ERP/accounting systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skillsPreference given to local or Texas-based candidatesWork Environment & Schedule:Hybrid schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Monday and FridayOccasional travel to plant locations in Indiana and Maryland may be required (less than 10%)
