Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team in Lincolnwood. In this role, you’ll handle building upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance tasks to ensure our facility remains safe, clean, and fully functional. This position is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, or property maintenance who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.Key Responsibilities
- Replace light bulbs and repair light fixtures as needed
- Purchase minor tools and materials required for work orders
- Perform remodeling tasks including patching and painting walls
- Complete plumbing repairs, unclog drains, and replace fixtures (toilets, faucets, etc.)
- Keep designated tool and equipment rooms clean and organized
- Maintain warehouse aisles and building exterior, ensuring they are free of debris
- Perform roof inspections, repairs, and other tasks requiring work at elevations over 10 feet
- Safely climb ladders, work in cramped areas, and handle heavy or awkward materials
- Travel between work sites as needed (mileage covered)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in remodeling, new construction, or property maintenance
- Basic knowledge of: Materials, methods, and equipment used in construction and remodeling, HVAC maintenance and operation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license (required for travel between work sites)
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments
- Competitive pay ($18–$21/hour based on experience)
