Peraton’s National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit is seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to support our impactful SITE III JIOC contract. This is your opportunity to make a difference by supporting critical applications for Collection Management, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and intelligence operations.About the Role: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable and resilient solutions for intelligence analysts, operations, and collection managers. You’ll work on requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, services development, integration, testing, and maintainability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a Scrum team to develop and enhance enterprise systems.
  • Apply best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, and DevSecOps.
  • Automate testing and integration using Open Source and COTS tools.
  • Develop and integrate bug fixes and new features using tools like Java, Git, and Junit.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 12+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 7 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph, or TS with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph
  • Current 8570 IAT Level II or higher cert such as CompTIA Security+ CE for Privileged User Access (PUA)
  • Programming Language Experience including – but not limited to – Java, Python (Poetry, Flask, etc.) and JavaScript (emphasis on React ecosystem libraries)
  • AWS technologies: Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, DocumentDB,
  • Experience using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience using Git, Jenkins, Gitlab
