Faithful work in these areas will place AH North Pinellas at the fore of quality and mission vibrancy and ensure that AdventHealth corporate accountabilities are met each year. Exhibits initiative, creativity and sound judgment in delegating responsibility, systemizing procedures, interpreting policies, planning for new services and analyzing activities and relationships with people. Demonstrates Service Excellence always. Ensures all duties are performed in accordance with organizational policies and procedures and compliant with regulatory and legislative requirements.The role you'll contribute:
  • Ability to communicate (verbal/written) effectively in both large and small group setting at different levels of the organization and in public settings. Required
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience as a change agent with the ability to develop consensus from independent parties to achieve organizational goals. Required
  • Demonstrated management skills with strong interpersonal skills and ability to actively engage and motivate individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds, skills/abilities; have an ability to counsel and develop others' capabilities. Required
  • Detail orientated with strong critical-thinking, organizational, planning and customer-relations skills. Required
  • Results driven with demonstrated ability to drive, promote and create a mission-driven culture of service excellence. Required
  • Demonstrated track record in effectively and strategically recruiting volunteer chaplains and developing pastoral care initiatives that help enhance patient, guest, physician and staff experience. Required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of strategic and financial/budget planning and management. Required
  • Ability to effectively delegate, multi-task, and manage conflicting priority is essential. Required
  • Ability to function in demanding, stressful and fast-paced environment. Required
  • Skilled in crisis intervention. Highly adaptable and skilled in de-escalation and intervention of emotionally charged situations. Required
  • Computer skills and proficiency in MSOffice, and EMR applications. Required
  • Able to communicate effectively in additional languages Preferred
QualificationsWork Experience:5 years supervisory or management experience in a hospital setting RequiredCongregational pastoral experience Preferred5 years management experience in an acute care setting in a medium to large size hospital setting Preferred
  • Seventh Day Adventist Preferred
Education:
  • Master's Degree
