
Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic (1st Shift) - Sign-On Bonus Available

- Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
- Perform consistent, high-quality work according to OEM, warranty, and dealership standards.
- Read repair orders, observe and listen to vehicle operation, obtain diagnostics information, identify root cause malfunctions, plan work procedures, and perform necessary repairs on a vehicle as authorized.
- Tackle general and major repairs across various truck systems, including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, HVAC, electronics, and more.
- Document your diagnostic findings, repair progress, and completed work thoroughly to keep our customers informed and ensure smooth warranty processing.
- Work closely with the Parts department to verify parts and collaborate with the Shop Foreman and Service Administration team for status updates or assistance.
- Ensure every repair meets quality standards by performing checks and road tests to confirm the issue is resolved.
- Valid Driver's License with ability to meet insurance requirements is required
- Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred; Class A CDL highly preferred
- Certificate from a diesel tech training school or a minimum of 4 years mechanical medium- or heavy-duty truck service experience in a shop setting or military installation
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and commitment to providing quality work
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
- Candidates must have their own tools; TCI provides specialty and OEM-required tooling for on-site, communal use
- Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
