- Lynx Central Enrollment Services Specialists are responsible for supporting students as they navigate the administrative aspects of the enrollment process including those connected to admissions, financial aid, registration, and bursar functions.
- Team members will provide phone, email, and face-to-face support for prospective, admitted, and continuing CU Denver students including one-on-one appointments.
- Will provide detailed information with the enrollment process and work with students in-person, on the phone, via email, and text to complete the steps of enrollment.
- Pro-actively identify potential issues, eliminate obstacles through the enrollment process.
- Collaborate with various office staff across campus to include admissions, financial aid, registration, bursar, campus advisors, faculty, and academic support staff.
- Responsible to interpret and respond to student inquiries.
- Serves as a liaison between the student and other departments.
- Explains, administers and adheres to university policies and procedures.
- Provide comprehensive and exceptional customer service .
- Student outreach efforts through telemarketing.
- Data entry, report production, and student records maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
- The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

- A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience working in enrollment services (admissions, financial aid, registrar, bursar, academic advising)
- Experience with PeopleSoft
- Experience in higher education or student development
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing outstanding customer service skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion with a commitment to developing equitable practices.
- Adept at utilizing technology to effectively communicate and complete work (e.g. MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel); ability to learn new technology.
- Commitment to serving students at a public, urban, research university.
- This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Occasional work during the evening and/or weekends may be required.
- This position follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks requiring high collaboration.
