We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager, located near Albany, NY, to support our client's projects. In this role, you'll work closely with a Project Manager to ensure projects meet client expectations, stay on schedule, and remain within budget.This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience while contributing to the expansion of cutting-edge clean energy infrastructure.Responsibilities of the Associate Project Manager will include:
  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing multiple installation projects from start to finish.
  • Submit and track applications with utility companies, ensuring compliance and timely approvals.
  • Assist in creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, providing regular progress updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, municipalities, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor project performance and help troubleshoot obstacles that could affect quality or timelines.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, contracts, and financials.
  • Participate in project meetings, capturing notes and ensuring follow-ups are completed.
  • Contribute to fostering a collaborative, motivated project team environment.
Job RequirementsQualifications of the Associate Project Manager:
  • Associate degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure or construction projects; knowledge of EV charging installation standards is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative setting.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Jira) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of funding options or grant-writing experience is a bonus, though not required.
