- Conduct the “Quality Review” of the evaluation performed of Non-Conforming Material (parts), Deviation Requests, Waivers, and Repair procedures on OEM and Supply base aero-engine hardware. Work includes the ability to assess/ensure the evaluation process has been completed to plan and the plan complies with all customer’s (and industry regulatory) requirements. Your “final” disposition (concession) ensures the “quality” of the evaluation process applied has properly addressed fit, form, function, interchangeability, health, safety, intended use, weight, appearance, repairability, and classification (minor vs major NC) based on provided / requested technical information.
- Must be able to obtain and hold "Certified QM-MRB" (Quality Member - Material Review Board) status to remain in this role. QM-MRB (re)certification training provided by Quest Global.

- Quality Management System
- Part Qualification
- Root Cause / Corrective Action
- Continuous Improvement / Development projects
- Support business growth through daily work / interactions
- BS-Technical
- 5+ years Quality Engineering experience including formally reviewing/auditing the Non-Conforming Material evaluation process – preferably within the Aerospace/Defense industry
- Quality Signatory Authority on the same (noteworthy)
- Other Quality Engineering experience (noteworthy)
- Other Quality Certifications (noteworthy)
- Thorough knowledge of A&D industry regulatory controls and procedures regarding the control and processing of non-conforming material (hardware)
- Ability to read/interpret drawings including understanding of GD&T
- Utilizing Quality Requirements / Assessing hardware / Interpreting inspection data
- Comprehending engineering design / analysis assessments
- Understanding role and responsibilities of Quality Clinic and MRB Crib
- Interacting with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain
- Collating and presenting technical data/results to customer and regulatory representatives (Federal Aviation Administration; Defense Contract Management Agency)
- Acquainted with CAB (Corrective Action Board) activities
- Knowledge (breadth and depth) of modern high tech manufacturing processes (metal, composites) and associated tooling, inspection, and handling of the same
- Working in MRP systems (SAP/CAPP/Solumina - preferred)
- Service Provider mindset

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
