General Placement Service is recruiting for a respected and top brokerage seeking an experienced leader to oversee and grow their programs operations. This role offers the opportunity to build carrier and retailer relationships, drive production goals, mentor a high-performing team, and contribute to the development of new products and programs within a dynamic and collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain carrier relationships to expand market appointments and promote program distribution.
Track pipelines to meet production goals and budget.
Network with retailers to generate new business.
Identify opportunities for new product development.
Collaborate with program teams on growth initiatives.
Mentor and develop staff, including supervising workflows, performance reviews, and team development.
Supervisory Duties
Guide, coach, and evaluate team members in servicing and growing their books of business.
Manage team performance and recognize achievements.
Conduct annual reviews and address performance issues effectively.
Qualifications
4–8 years’ experience in brokerage or wholesale.
2–4 years underwriting experience.
Strong knowledge of ISO forms, GL & property rating, ILF factors, surplus markets, and carrier appetites.
Proficiency with technology tools (Outlook, Zoom, EPIC, Excel, etc.).
