Gather requirements from internal software developers to learn what build or test jobs are needed
Design, develop, debug and test continuous integration system build or test jobs based upon requirements
Create concise, easy to read documents to facilitate efficient software development
Produces code for use in continuous integration systems to support development and test teams
Manages deployment of virtual machine and container infrastructure
Able to troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, hardware/driver issues, network connectivity, and VM performance
Research new technology and services to support and improve developer operations
Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems for development and server applications
Collaborates with peer groups and other teams across Nintendo
QualificationsSUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Knowledge and understanding of software product development, related tools and testing paradigms
Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux configuration
2+ years of experience with infrastructure creation & maintenance (VMs, Containers, Cloud-based infrastructure)
Experience with one of the following programming languages: C# (Preferred), Java, Python, or equivalent
Experience with one of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, or equivalent
Experience with continuous integration software (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins, Buildbot) a plus
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.This position includes a base salary range of $118,523 - $177,785 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
