The Women's Golf Assistant Coach will work under the direction of the head coach and assist with the administration of a successful Division I women's golf program. Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as an assistant coach in all aspects of teaching, coaching, evaluating and working with student athletes in the sport of golf
  • Coordinate team travel arrangements, administrative and budget/expensing responsibilities.
  • Assist in overall operations of the UTA Women's Golf program, creative initiatives and administration
  • Assisting in all aspects of practice and player development
  • Planning and executing all transportation, lodging, securing travel advances and assisting with team meals and other needs before, during, and follow up.
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree.
  • One (1) year of coaching experience at the high school level or above, college and professional coaching experience.
  • Successful experience as a professional golfer or graduate assistant or intern in an athletic program is acceptable for up to one-year of the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree.
  • Two (2) years of experience coaching collegiate setting or two (2) years as a student-athlete participating in collegiate golf.
  • Professional working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

  • Professional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies.
