Release Manager

• Provides overall management and expertise for multiple mid-to-large scale technical projects or programs within information technology.
• Oversee all aspects of programs throughout Lifecyle's of the projects to ensure timely and accurate completion of changes within the defined scope, timeline and cost constraints.
• Release Management/Product Management skillset would be required.
• May direct work and provide guidance to matrixed engineering teams and is ultimately responsible for ensuring applicable allocations of resources throughout the program.
• Actively tracks and resolves the completion of events, changes, problems, incidents, and requests within appropriate process guidelines with high-quality in support of the project/program.
• Tracks business requirements and scope and may participate in cross-functional teams to ensure product adherence to business requirements.
• You will work closely with the Engineers and Architects of the program as well as internal stakeholders. Experienced level position requires developing career in field and gaining knowledge of industry practices. Requires moderate levels of experience and proficiency in field.

• Responsible for process management and execution of complex mid to large-scale projects or programs.
• Reviews all facets of project development, to include overall project and program schedules, budgets, constraints, staffing requirements, and risks. Monitors and controls costs so that projects are completed within the approved budget guidelines.
• Provides technical leadership and guidance to project managers, product managers/owners, engineers and scrum master's throughout the project life cycle in support of business plans and client initiatives.
• Effectively communicates with stakeholders and other resources to maintain progress status. Key participant in providing input and status updates to leadership and executives during project design, build, and testing phases.
• Applies progressive knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to ensure the long-term viability, supportability, and achievement of project deliverables.
• Manage releases and the overall release lifecycle.
• After hours or Weekend support, as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree or equal level of technical experience
• 5-7 years of infrastructure knowledge or managing large-scale data centers
• 5-7 years working experience in program/product management
• 5-7 years working experience with release management
• Experience working with technology teams, including design/build and delivery engineers, operations, architects

• Excellent knowledge of supporting mission critical applications and infrastructure in a 24x7 environment
• Excellent verbal communication skills with command of the English language.
• Excellent written communication skills and an ability to track and present situational status.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Extremely computer literate especially with MS Office Suite of products, MS Project and Gantt.
• Experience with engineering tools, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with Agile development life cycle and Scaled Agile framework
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
