The Integrated Health Program Director provides clinical, administrative, and program supervision for all Integrated Health clinicians and other staff throughout HOTBHN’s service area. This position is also responsible for working with and securing CCBHC Division Directors to identify and secure needed contracts with medical providers, and for ensuring relevant regulatory, legal, and contractual guidelines are adhered to. Also, this position is responsible for growing and expanding Integrated Health services. Directly responsible to Adult and C&A Behavioral Health Division Directors for carrying out job duties.EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Integrated Health Care Team provides clinically appropriate care to individuals
  • Responsible for all personnel functions of supervisees including hiring, evaluation, scheduling, discipline, etc.
  • Responsible for working with CCBHC Division Directors to ensure financial and program goals are appropriately managed and achieved.
  • Provides training and supervision of Integrated Health staff.
  • Works with CCBHC Division Directors to promote the development and implementation of the Integrated Health services by participating in training, research, policy and procedure development and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Responsible for ensuring all germane guidelines, rules, regulations are met and maintained, and that the program remains in good standing with HHSC audits and reviews.
  • Provides clinical consultation and feedback regarding individuals served.
  • Performs Related Work as Required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of emotional problems and treatment approaches.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good work habits and organizational skills. Familiarity with computer operation.
  • Level of general health to permit stooping, bending, climbing stairs and participating in moderately active recreational activities.
  • Level of agility to permit getting in and out of vehicles on regular basis as well as moving freely to and from vehicle and facilities.
  • Physical ability to perform CPR and PMAB skills including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have and maintain a level of general health which permits the performance of job duties.
Education, Experience, and Training:
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or clinically related field and be licensed as a LPC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD. Required
  • Must have current valid TX driver’s license and current and continued proof of liability insurance.
  • Experience working in Behavioral Health field for one year Required
  • Prior supervisory experience Preferred.
