Job Description:Job SummaryCertified Medical Assistant works with the nursing staff independently to deliver routine nursing care and assessment of the pediatric patient.
  • Coordinates and organizes pertinent patient information.
  • Communicates and interacts with patient, families, staff and physicians and administration.
Schedule:Mon – Fri 9a – 5:30p. 1st 90 days he/she will follow preceptor's schedule (e.g. 8a - 4:30p). Potential future shift rotation: 11a- 8:30p (Mon - Wed); 9a - 5:30p (Thurs); Off (Fri); 8a - 12p (Sat). Shift will change according to staffing needs. Note: Evening/Sat temporarily suspended.#STC
QualificationsEducation Requirements
  • High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
Certification:
  • Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required upon hire or within 1 month with onsite training and certification.
