- Oversee the day-to-day program activities of DCCP-funded programs focused on ICT and cyberspace, digital freedom and critical and emerging technologies.
- Ensure coordination between CDP Regional Action Officers and implementing partners in planning program activities.
- Engage DCCP interagency partners to design and leverage program activities.
- Draft communications materials to amplify implementing partner efforts.
- Research and map ICT, cyberspace, critical and emerging technology regional activities, to include monitoring regional cables.
- Assist Action Officers and GORs with identifying and vetting program participants and training support.
- Engage in program coordination with counterparts in regional bureaus and overseas posts.
- Attend regional trainings and conferences as appropriate for program oversight.
- Keep accurate records of DCCP program activities and participate in record and knowledge management efforts.
- Coordinate and assist in developing all related DCCP program processes.
- Scan cables, periodicals, and social media for cyberspace, digital freedom and ICT related events/news of relevance to the DCCP.
- Monitor Administration initiatives as they relate to DCCP programming.
- Maintain understanding of cyberspace, digital freedom and ICT policy priorities and use of foreign assistance.
- Contribute to the development of a performance management plan and monitoring and evaluation plan.
- Review program reporting to ensure deliverables are on schedule and conduct quality assurance and data analysis.
- Analyze data from DCCP initiatives to inform future programming, monitor efforts, and compare results with past data gathered by the team.
- Draft situational program reports and use data visualization techniques to communicate program impact.
- Conduct analysis on ICT, cyberspace and critical and emerging technology activities for quarterly briefings.
- Work with DCCP and regional coordinators to improve the uniformity and standardization of the reporting process.
- Adhere to the Grants Management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the DCCP team and provide input as required.
- Adhere to other Bureau wide and Unit specific SOPs when carrying out duties.
- Serve as primary reviewer/contact for interagency and implementer communications products.
- Utilize and provide necessary input to the DCCP Communications Package as required.
- Draft language for inclusion in products such as talking points, ALDACs, BCLs, and tweets.
- Draft Daily Activities Reports as needed.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Requires SECRET Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent)
- Two (2) years of experience in performance management, federal budget formulation and execution, requiring interpersonal and customer service, problem solving, and computer skills (or equivalent).
- This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
- Background in foreign affairs and/or international relations.
