VillageCare has delivered quality health care services to individuals residing within New York City for over 45 years.Make a difference as a Senior Financial Data Analyst - HealthcareAs a Senior Financial Data Analyst at VillageCare, you will be integral to enhancing our Finance department's reporting capabilities. You will develop and maintain customized reports and dashboards using SQL, Tableau, and RedShift, collaborating closely with the IT department to automate these reports for efficient metric monitoring. Your role involves designing and developing dashboards while creating member economics reports that empower leadership in strategic business decisions.You'll also be responsible for automating regulatory reports for the New York State Department of Health and CMS, leading the medical claims reinsurance reporting and reconciliation process. Additionally, you'll support the completion of monthly and quarterly provider group financial statements while documenting reporting rules in partnership with the provider team and manager. Your efforts will ensure timely and accurate reporting, consistently reflecting VillageCare's commitment to Service Excellence, as you tackle various ad hoc requests that arise.Would you be a great Senior Financial Data Analyst - Healthcare?To thrive as a Senior Financial Data Analyst at VillageCare, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking skills, coupled with exceptional attention to detail. The capacity to multi-task while maintaining high levels of accuracy is crucial in this fast-paced environment.Additionally, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Your ability to present complex findings clearly and build interpersonal relationships will significantly contribute to the organization's success in strategic decision-making.Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
