
Civil Engineering Intern (Water Resources) - Summer 2026

- Assist with stormwater management, drainage design, hydrologic, hydraulic and water quality modeling and environmental permitting.
- Prepare plans, designs, specifications, and cost estimates
- Gather and provide data for the preparation of engineering reports and studies
- Perform and review design calculations
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an intermediate level of technical writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
- Works well in a team environment
- 2.5 GPA or above
- Prior internship or related experience
- AutoCAD and / or Microstation experience
- Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience
- Experience with or exposure to plans preparation and design standards
- Specific interest in Water Resources engineering
