Our client, a machining manufacturer located in the Southern Suburbs of Chicago, is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for maintaining high product quality and performance standards, while also fostering innovation and promoting continuous improvement.
Overseeing the entire PPAP process
Preparing and conducting internal ISO 9001 audtis
Working directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
Reading and interpreting blueprints

5+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing setting
Background with automotive manufacturing and the standards assocaited
Knowledge of ISO 9001
Experience with leading or assiting with internal audits
Strong experience with PPAPs
Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
Experience with PFMEA
