Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to respond to a variety of situations while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. You will also provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with clients and visitors, and work collaboratively with your team.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during patrols.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed in response to incidents.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related threats specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
