Our new Director, EHS Business Parter, will be responsible for leading the environmental, health and safety (EHS) program for the Micro Contamination (MC) division, including facilities, offices, and research & development (R&D) facilities, as part of the Entegris Global EHS organization.The new hire in this role will lead the EHS program implementation, management, and improvement within the MC division including deployment of EHS programs and standards, EHS regulatory compliance, training, incident investigation, auditing, and performance evaluation; responsible for implementation and leadership of these programs among all Entegris commercial divisions and operating facilities with activities in the MC division.If hired into this position, you can look forward to providing guidance, leadership, and technical support to a team of EHS professionals in the MC division supporting Entegris commercial and operational activities to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations, standards and professional codes.What You’ll Do:Lead the planning, development, and implementation of EHS policies, programs, and procedures in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local rules and regulations for Entegris facilities and commercial activities in the MC Division (sales
$1.1B annually) with direct accountability for EHS professions in NACollaborate with the EHS Director, Asia Hub, to ensure consistency and execution on MC division EHS initiatives and projectsRecruit, develop and lead EHS professionals to provide effective compliance support to Entegris facilities and commercial activities in the MC DivisionLead implementation and maturity of behavioral based safety programs such as Safe Start.Develop, implement, and manage training programs for managers, supervisors and employees regarding worksite safety practices, incident prevention, compliance management, process safety management, and other EHS programs in coordination with the Director, Global EHS SystemsSupport management of change for new projects and modifications to existing processes and facilities to identify and resolve EHS issues, and incorporate lessons learned from prior projects. Lead efforts to secure all required environmental permits, licenses and authorizations associated with projects and modifications, supporting overall MC division initiativesImplement and lead audit programs to identify existing or potential EHS hazards and liabilities, determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and manage the resolution of identified issuesProvide support on recurring environmental compliance obligations, including compliance recordkeeping, reporting, testing, etc.Manage incident investigation and reporting programs and ensure that investigations of accidents and compliance incidents are conducted, documented, and reportedCoordinate responsive communication with governmental agencies including information requests, investigations/inspections, and enforcement activity. Oversee EHS support to operating facilities during investigations/inspections of facility inspections by regulatory agenciesManage the collection, reporting and evaluation of applicable EHS metricsDevelop and manage the EHS budget for the MC DivisionPerform other duties as assignedWhat We Seek:At least 10 years of EHS program development, implementation, and leadership experience in industrial settings.Demonstrated success leading improvement of safety culture and EHS performance and implementation of behavioral based safety programsStrong knowledge of, and experience with, major health & safety programs including, but not limited to Lockout-Tagout-Try, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Process Safety Management, etc.Strong knowledge of, and experience with, major environmental regulatory and permitting programs including but not limited to EPCRA, NPDES, NSR/PSD, RCRA, RMP/PSM, Spill Prevention/SPCC, Title V, etc.Experience working with independent standards organizations and certification programs such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA VPP, Responsible Care, etc.Demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of outstanding results through effective EHS program development, implementation, and managementStrong “consultant” skills, including the ability to influence and motivate leaders and employees through collaborative engagement and building/maintaining relationshipsHigh energy, motivation, and commitment to take personal ownership of issues and drive them to exceptional outcomesExcellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate information to a broad range of people and audiences as circumstances dictateAbility to read, analyze and interpret technical reports and regulatory documents/standards, make sound judgments, and offer effective solutionsAbility to successfully manage and develop personnel in remote locations and work in a team environment across multi-site organizations, including 3rd party consultantsAbility to travel up to 20% of the time is requiredRegular, in person attendance at the Entegris Billerica, MA facility is an essential function of this positionOutstanding Candidates Will Have:CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), Professional Engineer (PE) or similar professional credentialsMaster’s degree in EHS or related ffieldExperience successfully managing and improving workplace ergonomicsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to successfully and safely work under conditions that are commonly experienced within an office, laboratory, warehouse, and manufacturing plant environment including (but not limited to) the following:Sitting/standing for extended periodswalking/climbing ladders or stairs to access and observe plant equipment and practices.entry/exit of confined or cramped spacesuse of various forms of personal protective equipment, including respirators, as required.noisy environmentshot, cold, and other inclement conditionsWhat We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
