Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring Die Cut Operators for a manufacturing facility in Simpsonville, KY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right mechanically inclined candidate. You’ll train on day shift and transition to night shift once you’re fully up to speed.Die Cut Operator Highlights:
- Pay starts at $19.00+/hr based on experience
- Temp-to-hire with opportunity for Direct Hire for the right candidate
- Will train on day shift; permanent shift will be night shift (2nd, 3rd, or 12-hour overnights)
- Independent work environment — one operator per machine
- Training period typically lasts 2-3 months
- Operate high-end Bobst die cutting machines (ExpertCut and MasterCut models)
- Set up machines and make mechanical adjustments as needed
- Build skids, wrap, sticker, band, stencil, and label shipments
- Take quality control photos of each load
- Perform daily forklift inspections and ensure safe equipment usage
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve mechanical or production issues independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude required — home mechanics or individuals with farm equipment experience highly encouraged to apply
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently after training
- Must have solid English communication and reading skills
- Must be dependable and comfortable working in a high-output production setting
