We're committed to excellence in everything we do, and we're seeking talented individuals who share our passion and values to join our team.What you’ll doSummary: Provides skilled maintenance to equipment and facilities including but not limited to HVAC, Lighting, Mechanical Doors, Electronic locks, Plumbing Components, Wall Repair, Furniture Installs, and general facility repairs.Receives, performs, and completes maintenance, repair, installation, and assembly work orders within allowable time frames.Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on facilities systems.Diagnoses problems affecting acceptable operation of facility equipment. Develops sequenced course of action for repair.Disassembles, adjusts, repairs, or replaces components, then reassembles facilities systems process equipment, machinery, and tools. Participates or conducts tests to assure proper operating characteristics and ability.Performs regular inspections of facility equipment and machinery according to operating manuals and standard maintenance procedures to assure operating efficiency and identify potential problem areas. Documents inspection activities and establishes schedules for review of potential problems.Performs all inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair activities in compliance with standard maintenance procedures, operating manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, drawings and diagrams, and federal, state, and local codes and regulations.Examines all aspects of a problem to determine root cause, and then identify potential solutions. Evaluate each solution based on cost and impact, and then determine multiple solutions.Creates action plans involving multiple resourced with expanded scope, then uses the action plan to measure progress in achieving results to the situation.Participates in preventative maintenance and total preventative maintenance activities as directed. Participates with other work teams to identify, define, and establish process stability and improvement.Utilizes relationships and delegation to accomplish larger size projects involving multiple resources in cross functional teams. Includes setting expectations and holding team members accountable.Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.What you’ll bringKnowledge and Skills:Requires a working knowledge of the purpose and operations of building electrical systems, HVAC systems, Plumbing systems, and other associated facility devices. Requires skill at diagnosing systems with automated controls, troubleshooting, and solving mechanical problems. Requires a basic knowledge of TPM processes and the principles and practices of lean manufacturing. Requires knowledge a working knowledge of understanding motion control and TBS/ Material Flow. Requires sufficient human relations skills to convey technical concepts to others and maintain harmony with team members and customers. Requires basic skills in using common personal computer-based programs.Abilities:Requires the ability to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position. Requires the ability to perform a full range of maintenance activity on machinery, tools, and facilities systems. Requires the ability to diagnose maintenance problems and establish corrective courses of action. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions, maintain complete records and interpret plans, diagrams, operating manuals, and specifications. Ability to establish a sequenced maintenance plan. Ability to read precision instruments and perform mathematical calculations. Requires the ability to observe and follow all safety rules and regulations. Requires demonstrated ability to operate a variety of machinery and tools. Requires the ability to effectively lead large scope project and large groups. Requires the ability to develop detailed project plans. Ability to manage multiple larger scale projects with clear and concise status updates. Requires the ability to read and understand PLC ladder diagrams including I/O addressing.Physical Abilities:Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk up to 400 yards, manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to climb (e.g. ladders), stoop, kneel, and crouch on an occasional basis. Requires sufficient hand-eye coordination, hand and finger dexterity including ability to grasp small devices as well as common tools, and near visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical and safety information. Requires the ability to operate small hand tools as well as common shop floor equipment.Education and Experience:Requires a high school diploma plus either a two-year degree, a formal technical certificate, or the equivalent level of experience. At least eight years of relevant work experience is required.Salary: The salary range for this position is $28.13 to $34.38/hour.
