The Channel Manager position focuses on growing the sales of vision guided vehicles (VGVs) in North America through the Raymond Corporation sales channel. The Channel Manager will work with Raymond corporate leadership and Raymond dealers across the U.S. to drive growth on the Courier product. The Channel Manager will work as an overlay to the Seegrid Strategic Sales team and collaborate with the Raymond sales teams in corporate national accounts and dealers. The candidate should have a strong network of contacts and selling experience in one of the following industries: sales automation, automotive manufacturing, general manufacturing, logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, or distribution/warehousing. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for increasing company profits by growing business through the Raymond Corporation sales channel. This position does not require relocation to company headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.

  • Meet or exceed the annual sales target for Raymond Courier business
  • Collaborate with Seegrid and Raymond management to help drive growth in the business by gaining firsthand knowledge of progress/gaps in sales, product development, and customer success
  • Develop trusted relationships with Raymond sales management at corporate and dealerships
  • Train sales teams at dealers and corporate on best practices in selling the Courier
  • Work with Seegrid and Raymond Marketing teams to generate leads and standardize proposals with quantified business cases that will help drive growth
  • Work with Seegrid application engineering team to better qualify Raymond Courier opportunities and improve close rates
  • Work with Raymond and Seegrid sales teams to build new pipeline of customers
Requirements and Experience
  • Demonstrated success achieving historical sales goals
  • Demonstrated proficiency in forecast accuracy and business management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related experience preferred
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be coachable to Seegrid's strategic sales process
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation, professional writing, and negotiations
  • Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing knowledge a plus
  • Motivated self-starter, comfortable in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Salesforce and LinkedIn
