Crestwood Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) - Harvest is conveniently located in Harvest Alabama. Like any hospital Emergency Department, a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) is open 24/7/365 and is equipped to treat patients with illnesses and injuries that require a higher level of care than urgent care facilities offer. With lab and radiology equipment, the FSED can treat a wide variety of serious illnesses and injuries including chest pain, severe allergic reaction, severe respiratory distress, broken bones, cuts requiring stitches, concussions, and other conditions.The facility is located on Highway 53 at Burwell Road in Harvest. The site was selected to improve accessibility and better serve the growing population.Job SummaryThe CT Technologist II is responsible for performing advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures and X-Ray, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role ensures high-quality cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation while providing compassionate patient care. The CT Technologist II demonstrates expertise in CT and X-Ray imaging protocols, patient safety, radiation protection, and contrast administration while maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.Schedule: Full-Time, NightsWhat We Offer

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program required
  • 3-5 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Licenses and Certifications
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required
  • CT - Computed Tomography certification issued by ARRT required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required
  • (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in CT imaging techniques, contrast administration, and cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Strong understanding of radiation protection principles, ALARA guidelines, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to emergency patient conditions, including reactions to contrast media.
  • Familiarity with interventional CT procedures and sterile field techniques.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology equipment.
  • Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and positioning.
  • Expertise in PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills, ensuring a compassionate and professional imaging experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
