Your daily responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, diagnosing issues, and performing necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality. You'll collaborate closely with team members to address maintenance challenges, ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely.Your schedule will be consistent, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.   • Maintain equipment & practice preventative maintenance
  • Production support, familiar with production equipment
  • Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out
  • Electrically incline/understanding single & 3 phase
  • Safely handle power tools
  • Welding experience is helpful, but not required
  • Computer competency
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and push, pull, lift up to 50lbs

  • Accepts repair orders as assigned
  • Reads work orders, observes and listens to forklifts in operation to determine/diagnose malfunction or problem(s)
  • Offers solutions to management for electric and propane forklifts
  • Provides estimates when appropriate
  • Repair, service, recondition or assemble equipment as approved by the maintenance manager
  • Obtains necessary parts working cooperatively with maintenance manager
  • Makes mechanical repairs to equipment after a complete inspection and analysis of breakdown has been completed
  • Records complete repair description on work order, including correct model and serial number of equipment and records hour meter reading
  • Examines protective guards, loose bolts, specified safety devices on truck and makes adjustments
  • Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Maintains and operates shop equipment and tools
  • Performs quality work as quickly and professional as possible
