- Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering (advanced degrees preferred)
- Candidates must possess at least 0 to 5 years of work experience
- Candidates should demonstrate experience and capability in one or more of the following areas: analysis and modeling of ballistic missile, cruise missile, and/or hypersonic systems including flight dynamics, vehicle performance characterization, propulsion system design, supersonic/hypersonic aerodynamics prediction, guidance, navigation, control, and flight test data analysis
- Candidates must be familiar with MATLAB and/or Python programming languages
- Candidates must be able to communicate well through written documentation and oral presentations
- Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with the C++ programming language
- Candidates should possess an active DoD Secret clearance
- Development of intelligence-based analytical models and tools to characterize and analyze threat ballistic missile, cruise missile, and hypersonic vehicle performance
- Development of aerodynamics, mass properties, propulsion, guidance, navigation and control inputs and modules
- Characterization of missile performance variation and uncertainty
- Modeling of threat missile excursions and execution of design trade studies
- Generation and evaluation of digital trajectory data using 6-DOF simulation tools
- Documentation and presentation of work to internal and external customers
- Support of ongoing activities in developing a high fidelity Six Degrees-of-Freedom (6-DOF) digital flight simulation environment
- Performing research and augmenting toolsets to enhance modeling techniques and improve current processes
