As a Virtualization Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage virtualized infrastructure solutions to support the C2BMC program. You will be responsible for designing and deploying virtualization architectures using VMware vCenter and vSphere, configuring and managing ESX servers, virtual machines, and virtual networks, and troubleshooting and resolving virtualization-related issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of virtualized systems with other infrastructure components, and develop and maintain documentation of virtualization systems. Additionally, you will participate in the development and implementation of virtualization standards, best practices, and security policies, and travel to remote locations as needed to lead and perform virtualization installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.Who We Are

You are a seasoned Virtualization Systems Engineer with a strong background in virtualization design, development, and testing methodologies. You have experience with VMware, ESX servers, NetApp NAS/SAN, Windows servers, SQL servers, and networks. You are an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.Why Join Us

- A final Secret Clearance is required
- 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
- VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization (VCTA) or VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP)
- Experience with VMware (vCenter), ESX servers, NetApp NAS/SAN, Windows servers, and SQL servers
- In-depth understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols, network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting experience
- Top Secret Clearance is a plus
- Authentication & encryption methods/capabilities (ACS, Active Directory, GEM-X)
- Prior C2BMC experience
- Experience using the Agile Framework or experience applying Agile fundamentals in engineer-focused work
- Understanding of standard DOD security practices such as STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts
