GENERAL SUMMARY
Mix solvents and dry chemicals in the process of making dispersion batches according to instructions on batch ticket.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Weigh and/or measure specific quantities of varying type of ingredients in proper sequence and proportions
  • Tend mixing or compounding equipment and maintain desired control over time, heat, pressure, color or other variables.
  • May perform blending, filtration, drying, grinding or other related operations.
  • May test according to prescribed procedures and specifications.
  • Maintain batch, time weight, color, pressure, heat production and/or other records as required.
  • Take products to QA Lab for QC checks and make final adjustments
  • Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion

  • No previous experience required
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Filling area strongly preferred
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Good math and measurement skills required
  • Basic reading and comprehension skills required
Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to determine correct processes regarding standard stain batchmaking procedures as instructed in initial training
  • The ability to work without continuous supervision while completing assigned projects.
