Materials and Process Engineer

- You will work closely with the production teams to ensure manufacturing issues are resolved and production schedules are maintained
- Also, you will utilize your expertise to identify and address any product quality or safety issues
- Further you will engage with others to lead productivity efforts to improve efficiencies focused on product yield and reduction of waste
- You will use your technical background to create, update and publish product manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- In addition, you will partner with material coordinators and production leadership to ensure materials resourcing to prevent production interruptions
- You will drive contingency actions by providing technical leadership and training to resolve both customer and production related issues
- You will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Material Science or relevant field of study with 0-5 years of working knowledge
- Advanced degrees will also be accepted; however this is an entry level engineering position
- Powder Metallurgy experience is highly preferred
- Further Plant Process knowledge or manufacturing experience is preferred
