- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or school of Ultrasonography
- New York State license as a “General Radiologic Technologist” and current New York State Department of Health certificate of registration as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RVT) or ARRT-RVS required
- A minimum of one (1) year working experience as Ultrasound Staff Technologist or one (1) year relevant clinical experience as a graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography program, that includes a clinical internship inclusive of Vascular ultrasound procedures.
- Excellent interpretive skills as it pertains to the knowledge and application of ultrasound processes, procedures and requirements.
- Ability to adjust to multiple work environments, including the use of various types and/or manufacturers of ultrasound equipment.
