
Quality Analyst

- Coordinate during quality concerns containment actions, dock holds, special checks to eliminate any impact to customer.
- Prepare standard reports for Quality reviews within the plant and with other areas.
- Review rejected parts for quality integrity and decide next steps. Issue daily Quality report.
- Lead/Support resolution of quality concerns utilizing problem solving methods.(Six-Sigma, 3 legged 5 why, 8D's etc.)
- Support expedited concern resolution with cross functional teams including Machining, Production, Suppliers and Customers
- Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions.
- Make quality calls that are in line with the customer acceptance level.
- Raise quality concerns into GSAR QR Systems
- Pull part drawing / CAD to check suspect parts against specification.
- Raise Concern Reports for all concerns and follow up until closure with G8D's based on data.
- Co-ordinate part sorting in plant.
- Sort parts for defects until supplier arrive at Ford to take over sorting function by hiring 3rd party to continue sorting activities.
- Resolution of Quality concerns component supplier, Product Development, STA in a timely manner not to affect production output.
- Managing conflict between affected parties.
- Decision making on liability of defect.
- Effective managing of suspect parts to protect customer.
- Managing of Quality reports tracking and binning.
- Visit and coach production departments and suppliers if needed.
- High School Diploma ·
- Experience in Quality Engineering ·
- Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives ·
- Proven problem-solving ability ·
- Previous Incoming Quality Supervision ·
- Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in related field of Quality
- Previous automotive and quality analysis experience
