Duration: 4 months 9/12/2025 to 1/13/2026Notes:
  • Possible temp-to-hire opportunity.
  • Regular Schedule will be: Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm (10 hr shifts with half hour lunch)
  • MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS PLUS FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE; DOES NOT NEED TO BE CERTIFIED. PLEASE REFER TO ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION. Lifting up to 50 Ibs.
  • Must complete background check and drug test. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORATION.
  • Must have Safety boots that cover the ankle.
  • Not allowed to wear shorts or sleeveless shirts or jewelry.
  • Allowed to wear silicone wedding band is ok and if they have a medical alert bracelet.
This position is responsible for the manufacturing and shipping of animal feed. Operate all mixing and batching equipment to mix ingredients according to company's feed formulations. This includes the operation of ingredient augers, mixing scale, mixer, liquid pumps, forklift, and distribution equipment. Good housekeeping to be maintained at all times. Work in a safe and efficient manner consistent with company rules and regulations.Essential Functions/Requirements
  • Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, pulling, and working in small spaces.
  • Lifting is required. Not to exceed 80lbs.
  • Driving will be required to complete certain tasks. Safe operation of a forklift is required.

Description:
  • This position is in Cargill's food ingredients and bio-industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice companies. Process monitoring and control. Product sampling analysis.
  • Troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance of process equipment and instrumentation.
  • Procedures, policies and practices adherence and development.
  • Permit completion and coordination. Assist in assuring efficiency of operation of equipment, quality of product, and safety of all personnel. Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned. May also be known as Control Room Operator.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Education or Equivalent
  • Fork Lift Experience
  • Basic Computer Skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least six months feed production experience preferred.
  • Background in mechanics and maintenance helpful.
