You could be a great fit for our team!Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, currently has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Machinist at our Air Products Membranes Solutions facility in St. Louis, Missouri.1st shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)The successful candidate will work in the Site Services area and will work well in a team environment where priorities change rapidly.Required Skills / Abilities:Strong mechanical skillsMachine shop experienceCNC milling machine operation and programmingWelding experience preferred but is not requiredAbility to hold close tolerances, (.0005) using milling machines and lathesDemonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignmentsAbility and initiative to complete job assignments in a timely mannerFollow safe work practices and standard operating proceduresKey Job Responsibilities:Perform routine, and non-routine machining tasksAssist others with design ideas and equipment improvementsComplete monthly assigned preventive maintenance tasksRepair and refurbish production and building equipmentComplete required safety tasks and activitiesSupport facility operations by completing assigned work orderMinimum Hiring Requirements:A high school diploma or (GED) is requiredAccredited trade school diploma or certificate is required3+ years of machine shop experience is requiredApplicable military training will be considered equivalent to industrial experienceStrong mechanical skillsCNC milling machine operation and programming is requiredAbility to lift 50 pounds and climb laddersAble to work in a team environmentA valid driver’s license is requiredAvailability to work a 1st shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)#LI-Onsite#LI-CH1#INDGIGJoin Air Products, where we proudly value the skills, dedication, and leadership that Veterans bring to the table.
