As a Provider Senior Network Program Specialist for the Veterans Affairs Community Care (VA CCN) you'll support VA CCN Network in 36 states. In this role you will assist providers with navigating the VA CCN program and its requirements for participation in the VA CCN network.We are honored that Optum Serve has been awarded the VA CCN for all eligible Veterans in regions 1,2, and 3. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.If you are located in Central to Eastern US, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Effective and clear communication to support creating relationships with providers that will help ensure that providers maintain a contract within the network
  • Provide oversight of activities that support positive physician relationships with a focus on a data driven, collaborative approach
  • Collaborate with network providers for program issue resolution including contracting, credentialing, demographic management, authorizations, required education, and invoice payment processes
  • Implement strategies to support Optum's relationships with providers to influence providers to act and produce measurable outcomes relative to improving quality, efficiency of care, and administrative performance
  • Conduct required M1S provider education and training
  • Collaborate with the development and implementation of new operational processes to support the M1S program
  • Contribute to a team environment that is compassionate, supportive, inclusive and goal driven

  • 2+ years of experience in managed care (claims, advocacy, provider data review)
  • 2+ years of experience with presenting educational materials
  • Proven ability to work independently and with a team
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize job assignments
  • Must be able to work either Central or Eastern time zone hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with government engagement & military programs
  • Proven advanced Excel/ Microsoft applications
  • Proven military background
  • Proven Network Management or Provider Advocacy related role

The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment.
