- Lead the technical execution of email marketing initiatives, including audience segmentation, personalized content delivery, and campaign logic, with the ability to adapt across various marketing platforms
- Build and maintain dynamic audience segments using data querying and marketing automation tools.
- Develop and QA backend logic for email campaigns, ensuring accurate targeting and personalization.
- Support email development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed.
- Monitor deliverability, engagement, and performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with data teams to shape and maintain customer data models that support advanced segmentation strategies, helping fill data gaps with marketing strategies.
- Build and manage dynamic audience segments for use in marketing automation platforms.
- Translate strategic audience goals into actionable segments across push, email, SMS, and paid media.
- Ensure accurate targeting and personalization through tools like Hightouch and a CDP.
- Map and analyze customer journeys across all touchpoints to identify key moments for conversion and retention.
- Research and partner with lifecycle marketers to design and optimize campaigns that drive ticket sales, attendance, and engagement.
- Leverage behavioral data (e.g., purchase-to-scan) to uncover monetization opportunities.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and proactively flag issues (e.g., deliverability, engagement drops).
- Conduct post-campaign analysis to refine segmentation and targeting strategies.
- Support backend logic for email campaigns using SQL and JavaScript (as needed).
- Integrate and enrich marketing data from platforms like Formstack to enhance targeting and insights.
- Build and maintain dashboards in Mixpanel and Power BI to track segment performance and revenue impact.
- Collaborate with analytics and product teams to ensure marketing has access to actionable, revenue-focused insights.
- Support email development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the flexibility to adapt to different marketing platforms and tools as needed.
- Support light data engineering tasks to enable marketing automation and personalization.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data flows between platforms to ensure seamless segmentation and subscription processes.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, analytics or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, marketing analytics, or customer insights.
- Proven experience managing and executing email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in data-driven customer segmentation, campaign logic, and marketing automation using SQL or similar query languages.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity withHTML/CSS/JavaScript for email development and troubleshooting.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with tools like Hightouch, Mixpanel, and Formstack.
- Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and journey orchestration across digital channels.
- Knowledge of email QA processes, deliverability best practices, and campaign testing tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on revenue impact and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of sports and entertainment, specifically NBA basketball.
