JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILSJob Summary: Provide direct management of the CalvertHealth Medical Group Billing Department. To provide support, as needed, to other revenue cycle teams and committees with the responsibility and oversight of customer service, billing, cash collections, Medical Group coding, and workflow processes necessary to meet goals, directives, and all regulatory and compliance policies. The position supports the Director of Revenue Cycle and revenue cycle departments in integrating processes, applications and workflow to meet the financial and customer service goals of the organization.Education: Associates Degree in Business or Healthcare Management preferred.Registration/Certification/Licensure: Technical Certification through AAHAM, or equivalent, preferred.Experience: 5-7 years of Patient Accounting or a combination of 7 years Patient Accounting and medical office practice related experience, combined with 3 years of supervisory experience and 2 years actively working on Revenue Cycle team projects.Other Requirements:Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.Additional Info:CalvertHealth (CH) offers a comprehensive benefits program designed to enhance the physical, financial, and personal well-being of our employees.
