A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in Hauppauge, New York (NY). Summary: The Senior Accountant will maintain close contact with clients in assisting with all audits, accounting, bookkeeping (via QuickBooks), and tax functions. As a Senior Accountant, you will report to partners and provide guidance to staff members. There is a lot of growth potential with very competitive compensation and nice offices and team culture. This job requires a car and is not a remote position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience
  • Solid audit with some tax compliance and QuickBooks of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CPA certification is a plus
  • Able to prepare and analyze books and records, payroll/sales tax preparation of various tax returns: Individual, Partnership, Corporate, S-Corp, Estates and Trusts, Not for Profit, multi-state returns are a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
