- Build and maintain relationships with current clients, including contractors, builders, and other industry professionals.
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Promote and sell custom cabinetry products to meet customer needs.
- Leverage your existing local book of business to grow sales and achieve sales targets.
- Provide product knowledge and support to customers, offering expert advice on material selection and project specifications.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team and management to ensure timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular site visits to evaluate customer needs and assist with project planning.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the lumber, building materials, or cabinetry industries.
- Strong knowledge of lumber, building materials, and cabinetry products.
- Existing local book of business with established relationships in the building and construction sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
